As a Creative, Carl Padmore is seen as a dynamic engager and organizer for individuals and companies alike. He has performed the roles of project lead in such areas as: – Time Management, Group Dynamics, Team building, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Protocol.

Hailing from the agricultural village of Marchfield, St. Philip, Carl was propelled into public and community service and is well known in the entertainment sphere in Barbados. He has done and continues to do considerable work with under privilege youth through programmes such as The PURE Referral Centre, The Barbados Youth Service, The Child Care Board, Sundah Food Production, G.O.A.L Mind and Pinelands Creative Workshop.

This former secondary school teacher now Public Relations Officer with the Ministry of Environment, where he has worked for thirteen years, Carl is trained in Public Relations, Marketing, Event Planning and Execution, Customer Service Enhancement, Counselling, Public and Motivational Speaking, Drama, Coaching Track and Field and Netball, Massage Therapy, Physical Training, Master of Ceremonies duties, Youth Research, Performing Poetry and Stand-Up Comedy. His work has taken him throughout the Caribbean, the USA, Brazil, Chile and United Kingdom.

In addition to his professional accolades, Carl has been awarded numerous awards and distinctions since 1983 including over forty National awards for poetry and dramatic characterization and The Barbados Man of Merit Award. In 2014, he won Best Poem and Best-Spoken Word at the Tallawah Festival in Jamaica and in 2017, Kiwanis International made him their community Services Ambassador. In 2018 he won the Better Health Champion Award and was conferred with the title Childhood Obesity Champion of Barbados working with The Heart and Stroke Foundation. This Caribbean son of the soil has a passion for Caribbean music as well as desire to promote the Caribbean in all he does.

Carl Padmore is a believer in workers’ rights and also the credit union movement and is armed with a first degree in Creative Arts with honours. He has received training as a Motivational Speaker at the Anthony Robbins Foundation.
